Spiced Drinking Chocolate with Maple-Cinnamon Whipped Cream

Ingredients
Hot Chocolate
3 cups of milk
1/4 cup Divine Drinking Chocolate
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cardamom
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1/8 teaspoon allspice
A pinch of salt
Whipped Cream
1/2 cup heavy cream (sub. coconut milk for vegan option)
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Method
Step 1
To Make the Whipped Cream:In a medium bowl beat cream, maple syrup, and cinnamon on medium-high speed until stiff. Set aside.
Step 2
To Make the Hot Chocolate:In a medium saucepan bring milk to a bare simmer. Take off the heat and whisk in drinking chocolate, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, allspice, and salt until completely dissolved and smooth. Divide between 2 heated mugs.
Step 3
Top drinking chocolate with whipped cream.
Step 4
Refrigerate any remaining whipped cream in an airtight container.
